Early Learning Coalition of Broward County
We’re proud partners with the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County to help families access affordable, high quality early childhood education services. The Early Learning Coalition of Broward County supports families by providing financial assistance programs that help cover the cost of childcare and early education for eligible children from infancy through preschool age.
Through this partnership, families enrolled at our learning centers in Pompano Beach, North Lauderdale, and Oakland Park may qualify for childcare tuition assistance and Florida’s Free Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program.
Programs Available for Families
School Readiness Program
The School Readiness Program helps eligible working families receive financial assistance for childcare services. This program is designed to support parents while ensuring children receive a safe, nurturing, and educational environment during their early developmental years.
Families who qualify may receive:
Reduced childcare costs
Financial assistance for daycare and preschool
Access to quality early learning programs
Educational support for children from infancy through preschool
How Parents Can Apply
Parents can apply directly through the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County Official Website.
The application process may include:
Completing an online application
Providing proof of income and employment
Submitting child documentation
Determining eligibility for available programs
Once approved, parents can select participating childcare providers, which include : Our Children’s Workshop, Oakland Park Academy and North Lauderdale Children’s Academy.
Free VPK Program
Florida’s Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program provides free educational services for eligible 4 year old children preparing to enter kindergarten.
Our VPK classrooms focus on:
Early literacy
Social development
Communication skills
Problem solving
Kindergarten readiness
Creative learning experiences
The goal is to help children build confidence, independence, and a strong academic foundation before entering elementary school.
